Well.. by request I decided to post one of my original origami
models.
However, I realized, I don't have a place on my page for origami, so
by default, it's here.
You will need two 1 dollar bills or paper the same dimensions.
Start by folding the first dollar right on the edge of the seals, then
fold that edge in to the W in "In God We Trust",
This creates the spine.
Turn it over.
Then fold the top and bottom edges in so they meet each other..
Fold the outside edges in to the folded edges by the spine.
(this is what it looks like on the cover side)
Okay! Cover created! (wasn't that easy?)
Okay.. now fold the other dollar lengthwise.
Then in half short edge to short edge, then fold back the halves to
create fourths, unfold, and folding back and forth, using the fold lines
as marks, accordian fold the bill in eighths.
Now insert the first and last "page" of the accordian folded dollar
into the pockets (indicated by blue dashed lines)
of the cover.
That's it! Just that simple. Now what to use it for? I have NO idea.
I use them to tip waitresses and to impress kids.
If you want it to lay flat to tape to a card or something you may want
to put something heavy on it over night depending on how crisp your bills
were to start with.
